The Staff Selection Commission announced the SSC GD Final Result 2024. Candidates who have participated in the physical exam and document verification can view their results on the official SSC website at ssc.gov.in or Connect the Nearest CSC (Common Service Center)

The SSC GD recruitment initiative seeks to fill 46617 positions, including 12076 for the BSF, 13632 for the CISF, 9410 for the CRPF, 1926 for SSB, 6287 for ITBP, 2990 for AR, and 296 for SSF.

The commission has selected 4891 female candidates and 39375 male candidates for the roles of Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in the Assam Rifles Examination, 2024. Furthermore, the final outcomes for 845 candidates have been kept back due to court directives/suspected misconduct.

The SSC GD Constable examination took place from February 20 to March 7, 2024, and an extra session was held on March 30. Candidates who passed the written test were permitted to participate in the PST/PET round.

Out of the total 46,617 positions offered in this recruitment, there are 12,076 positions for the BSF, 13,632 for the CISF, 9,410 for the CRPF, 1,926 for SSB, 6,287 for ITBP, 2,990 for AR, and 296 for SSF.

The Commission does not prepare a No Reserve List or a Waiting List. The SSC GD result notification stated that unfilled positions in the final outcome and those resulting from the non-joining of chosen candidates or any other cause will be forwarded to the next year’s recruitment process by the relevant User Departments (i.e., CAPFs). The specific scores of all chosen and unchosen candidates will be made available on the Commission's website in due time, it stated.
