The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2026, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), offers a single-window opportunity for admission to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programs across over 45 central universities and many state/deemed/private institutions. With exams tentatively set for May 11-31 for UG and March 13-April 1 for PG, early preparation is key.

Eligibility and Exam Pattern
Class 12 passers can apply for UG, choosing up to 37 subjects including 13 languages, 23 domain-specific, and general test; no age limit applies. The computer-based test features 50 questions per section (attempt 40), with +5 for correct and -1 for wrong answers. Syllabus aligns with NCERT for domains like Business Studies, Chemistry, and Computer Science.
Application Process
Register online via the NTA portal: enter personal details, select subjects/cities (up to 4 preferences), upload documents, and pay fees (₹1000 for General up to 3 subjects). Update Aadhaar/UDID for center allotment; confirmation page must be printed.
CSC's Vital Role
Common Service Centers (CSCs), with 1.5 lakh+ outlets, serve as official NTA helpdesks and application centers, especially for rural applicants. Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs) assist with form filling, document uploads, and e-wallet payments—find nearest CSC at www.cscindia.info. This G2C initiative ensures equal access, eliminating cyber cafe dependency.

Exam Pattern and Eligibility
