CUET PG 2025 REGISTRATION STARTED

The Ministry of Education and UGC have directed the National Testing Agency to administer the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for admission to all postgraduate programs at all Central Universities as well as other participating universities, institutions, organizations, and autonomous colleges since 2022. The CUET (PG) offers students who want to enroll in any Central University (CU) or other participating institutions (such as State Universities, Deemed Universities, and Private Universities) in the nation a single window opportunity.

CUET PG 2025: Novel modifications
Before completing the application form, applicants who wish to be admitted to a central university or any other CUET PG participating university for PG courses must review the changes implemented this year. 

In comparison to the previous year, the NTA has raised the registration fees for all categories by Rs 200. To register for CUET PG 2025, candidates in the general category would need to pay Rs 1,400, while those in the OBC-NCL/Gen-EWS category will need to pay Rs 1,200. Last year, candidates had to pay Rs 600 for extra test papers. However, aspirants from the general category will have to pay Rs 700 for each additional test paper they want to take this year.

Exam cities decreased.
For the CUET PG 2025 test, the NTA has reduced the number of exam city centers from 300 in 2024 to 285 throughout India. Nevertheless, there are 312 exam center cities worldwide. Based on their current or permanent address, candidates will be able to choose from four different cities. Only two cities were available to candidates last year.

Exam duration
The exam lasted 105 minutes last year. Candidates will now only have 90 minutes to respond to 75 multiple-choice questions, nevertheless.

A total of 157 courses are available in CUET PG. As per the CUET PG schedule, the application form can be submitted from January 2 to February 1. The tests are scheduled to take place between March 13 and 31.
