Revised Guidelines For International Arrival; Govt. of India

The global ambit of the COVID-19 pandemic continues to decline, with some local variations.
The previous guidelines for international arrivals to India were based on risk based approach, even though serious focus is kept on the nature of the virus without any compromise.
But considering the increasing vaccination coverage across the world and the changing nature of the pandemic, the existing guidelines for international arrivals in India have been reviewed.
Currently, Children under the age of 5 are excluded from the test before and after arrival. However, if symptoms of COVID-19 are found on arrival or at home quarantine, they should be subjected to examination and treatment according to the prescribed protocol.
