NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is an all-India level entrance exam for admission to medical and dental undergraduate courses across the country. Conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), NEET is held once a year, usually in May. The exam is highly competitive, with lakhs of students appearing for it every year.

NEET is scheduled to be held on 7th May 2023.

Here are the details about NEET 2023 Application form filling procedure:

The candidates who want to apply for the examination are required to fill out the application form from 6th March 2023.
Once the application opens, you have to fill the application form with correct details like name, address, etc.
After filling out the form, click next and upload the scanned copy of the required documents.
Candidates must submit the application form before 6th April 2023, as no application form will be accepted after that date.
Pay the application fee using a Debit/ Credit card, UPI, Net banking, etc.
Download, save and print a copy of the confirmation page of the application form for future reference.
Application Fee:
The application fee payable for different categories is:

Candidates of the General Category can pay Rs.1700/-.
Candidates of the General- EWS/ OBC-NCL can pay Rs.1600/-.
Candidates of the SC/ ST/ PWD/ Transgender category can pay Rs.1000/-.
For those candidates who are applying from outside India, the application fee is Rs.9500/-.
Candidates also have to pay additional charges and GST.
The application fee can be submitted online mode only through Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit card, or UPI.

SYLLABUS
The syllabus for NEET 2023 will be the same as that of NEET 2022. The exam will consist of 180 multiple-choice questions, with 45 questions each from Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology. Each question will carry four marks, and for every wrong answer, one mark will be deducted. The maximum marks that a student can score in NEET 2023 is 720.

To be eligible for NEET 2023, a candidate must have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December 2023. The upper age limit for NEET is 25 years (30 years for reserved category candidates), and the candidate must have passed class 12 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as compulsory subjects.

Preparation for NEET requires a lot of dedication and hard work. Students should start preparing for the exam well in advance to ensure that they cover the entire syllabus thoroughly. They can refer to NCERT textbooks and other standard books for the preparation. They should also practice solving previous years’ question papers and mock tests to get an idea of the exam pattern and to improve their speed and accuracy.
