National Aptitude Test in Architecture NATA – for admission to the Architecture degree course, candidates who plans to build a career in architecture, needs to qualify an Aptitude Test in Architecture conducted by the Council. The Council of Architecture (CoA) which is an autonomous statutory body of Ministry of Education, Government of India.

CoA has prescribed the Minimum Standards of Architectural Education, with the approval of the Central Government, which affirms the needs to qualify an Aptitude Test in Architecture conducted by the Council for admission to the Architecture degree course.

Thus admissions to architecture courses shall be carried out only by the concerned competent authorities based on valid NATA score. Thereby NATA remains as an eligibility criteria for admission to five-year Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) degree course all over the country in Architectural Institutions.

NATA assesses a candidate’s innate ability through a variety of testing formats that cannot be taught, learnt or induced, which make NATA uncommon among other entrance examinations. NATA measures the aptitude of the applicant towards Architecture, besides the learning that the candidate has acquired over the past few years.

NATA-2022 will be conducted by the council in (CBT Mode) computer-based aptitude test at the allotted centers in the identified cities of the country.

NATA-2022, this year will be conducted thrice. Which is expected to enhance the opportunities to a greater number of bright aspirants to join Architecture. The Exam will be conducted on different dates on CBT mode. Candidates are allowed to appear for 3 NATA exams.

The tests shall be conducted in 2 sessions on the date of the Test. The Tests shall be conducted on 12^th June, 2022/ 3^rd July 2022 and 24^th July 2022 respectively.

Eligibility: Candidates must have completed their 10 + 2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or 10+ 3, Diploma with Mathematics as subject of study**
