Consortium of NLUs has released CLAT 2024 registration since 1st July 2023. The last date to complete the registration for the CLAT 2024 is 3rd November 2023.

CLAT is one of the most competitive entrance examinations for admissions to law courses including five-year integrated LLB and one-year LLM courses in law colleges in India. CLAT is conducted in pen-paper mode once a year. The examination is conducted for admission to most of the NLUs for UG and PG courses. Around 3,000 seats at the undergraduate level and around 1,000 seats at the postgraduate level are filled at the participating NLUs through Centralized Admission Process of seat allotment.

Earlier, the National Law Universities (NLUs) made some changes in the CLAT 2024 examination pattern and syllabus. Instead of 150 questions, students will now have to answer 120 questions. Examination will be conducted on 3rd December 2023 in offline mode in more than 130 exam centers across the country. The syllabus and examination pattern of CLAT 2024 will remain largely unchanged except for the reduction in the number of questions.
