The BPRD – Bureau of Police Research and Development invites application from students pursuing PG/M.Phil./Ph.D. Programmes for Paid Internship programme.

 

Completed Application shall reach the authority on or before 28/02/2022.

 

The Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPRD) is functions to assist the Central Government in coordinating the activities of Police training and research. BPRD accelerates the activities such as studies of Police and Prison problems and also the beuro is responsible for promoting the application of science and technology to police work, improving and developing training programmes for the Police Forces at Centre and States and also for prison personnel of different ranks, etc.

 

Internship Types

30 days Internship programme.

2 months Internship programme

 

Eligibility Criteria:

Students shall be pursuing their PG/M.Phil/Ph.D programme in any one of the following subjects:

Criminology

Sociology

Social Work

Psychology

Law

Forensic Psychology

Human Rights

Public Administration

Public Policy & Governance

Information Technology

Police & Prison Studies

Cyber Security

Cyber Forensics & Information Security

Police & Prison Administration

Computer Science

Management

Any other related subjects

Introductory Session

Assigning of Tasks

Assigning of Projects

Field Visits

Internship Report

Valediction

 

Stipend:

Rs.8,000/- will be paid to all selected interns

Also a Sleeper Class train fare to New Delhi and back to their place of study (shortest route) will be provided to selected Interns from outside Delhi

Application

Application provided along the Notification should be filled and to be sent by post to the authority along with attested copies of marksheets.

 

Additional

Application shall be forwarded by Department Head of University.

Students who have attended Internship Programme earlier in the BPRD are not eligible to apply again.
