PRE-MATRIC SCHOLARSHIP

The scheme is awarded to students of minority communities at pre-matric level . This scheme focuses on providing Empowerment through education, which aims the up-liftment of socio-economic conditions of the minorities.

ELIGIBILITY

  1. Students must be enrolled in classes 1 – 10 in India (includes residential schools)
  2. Students must have obtained at least 50% marks in the last final examination
  3. Annual income of parents or guardians from all sources should not exceed Rupees One lakh.

 

POST-MATRIC SCHOLARSHIP

The scheme is granted to meritorious students from economically backward sections of minority community for continuing higher education. This would expect to increase the rate of attainment of higher education and to enhance the chances of employability.

ELIGIBILITY

 

  1. Students must be enrolled in school/college/universities in India (includes technical and vocational courses)
  2. Students must have obtained at least 50% marks or equivalent grade in the last final examination
  3. Annual income of parents or guardians from all sources should not exceed Rupees two lakh.

 

Merit Cum Means_Scholarship for Professional & Technical Students

The scheme is implemented as an aid to encourage the poor, meritorious students of minority communities to pursue professional and technical education.

ELIGIBILITY

 

  1. Students must be enrolled to technical and professional courses at undergraduate and post graduate level in India.
  2. Students must have obtained at least 50% marks or equivalent grade in the last final examination
  3. Annual income of parents or guardians from all sources should not exceed Rupees Two lakh fifty thousand

 

Begum Hazrat Mahal National Scholarship

  1. BACKGROUND

The Scheme is for meritorious girl students. It was earlier known as Maulana Azad National Scholarship. The scheme is meant to promote girl students belonging to national-minorities for continuing their education.

 

SCHOLARSHIP

  • 5000/- at 9th & 10th class.
  • 6000/- at 11th & 12th class.

ELIGIBILITY:

  1. Girl students from minority community. (Muslim/ Christian/ Sikh/ Buddhist/ Jain/ Parsi)
  2. Students must be enrolled in classes 9 – 12 in India.
  3. Students must have obtained at least 50% marks or equivalent grades in the last final examination
  4. Annual income of parents or guardians from all sources should not exceed Rupees Two lakh.
