Kochi Metro Rail Limited(KMRL) has released the job notification for filling up positions vacant at Kochi Water Metro Project.

Kochi Water Metro Project which is an integrated water transport system envisioned to connect the mainland around the Kochi Lagoon with the islands through a modern water transport system.

The primary goal is to improve the connectivity of the people and thereby improve their livelihood and standard of living. The project envisions an eco-friendly modern urban transport system with 15 identified routes over a length of 76 km

Details

Position : Terminal Controller
Qualification	Diploma/B.Tech in any Technical Field
Experience	Atleast THREE years of experience in Boat/Ships/Shipyard.
Consolidated Pay	Rs.35000 per month
Maximum Age Limit	45 Years

Position : Boat Master

Qualification

#2^nd Class Master Certificate (In compliance with KIV rules)

#10 +2 OR 10 + ITI

Desirable : Diploma in any stream

Experience

Atleast 5 years of experience in sea/ inland vessels out of which atleast 2 years as Boat Master.

(Preference; Ex-Navy, Ex-Coast Guard, EX-BSF-water wing & ISLANDERS applicants)

Maximum Age Limit

45 Years

Pay Consolidated Pay

Rs.40000/- per month

Position : Boat Operator
Qualification	# 2^nd Class Engine Driver & Serang Certificate (In compliance with KIV rules) + # 10 +2 OR 10 + ITI
Experience	Atleast2 years as Boat Engineer or Boat Operator in sea/ inland vessels. (Preference; Ex-Navy, Ex-Coast Guard, EX-BSF-waterwing, & ISLANDERS applicants satisfying the above mentioned criteria.
Maximum Age Limit	45 Years
Pay Consolidated Pay	Rs.35000/-per month
