UPSC Civil Services Examination 2022, UPSC has released the notification for the civil services examination 2022 on 2nd February 2022.
UPSC CSE brings out the best civil servants to join the civil services through 2 stages which includes two written examination and an interview.
Examination:
Civil Services Examination – Preliminary
The exam consist of objective type questions and qualifying preliminary exam one enters to the next stage.
Civil Services Examination-Mains
The exam includes a written and an Interview section, for the selection of candidates for the
various Services and posts noted below:
Indian Administrative Service IAS
Indian Foreign Service IFS
Indian Police Service IPS
And to other Various Group – A Services such as;
Indian Audit and Accounts Service
Indian Civil Accounts Service
Indian Corporate Law Service
Indian Defence Accounts Service
Indian Defence Estates Service
Indian Information Service
Indian Postal Service
Indian P&T Accounts and Finance Service
Indian Railway Protection Force Service
Indian Revenue Service (Customs & Indirect Taxes)
Indian Revenue Service (Income Tax)
Indian Trade Service
And to some other Group B positions like;
Armed Forces Headquarters Civil Service
DANICS
DANIPS
Pondicherry Civil Service (PONDICS)

The online Applications can be filled up to 22nd February, 2022 till 6:00 PM.
Eligibility Conditions:
Nationality
For services such as IAS, IFS and IPS the candidate must be an Indian Citizen
For other services, certain other candidates can also apply**
Age
Must have attained 21 years and not exceeded 32 years on (01/AUGST/2022)
Special relaxations to certain categories**
Minimum Educational Qualification
A Valid Graduate degree
Application Fee
- 100/-
Certain candidates are exempted from paying fees**
Dateline
Applications can be submitted up to 22nd February, 2022 till 6:00 P.M
Submitted Applications can be withdrawn from 1st March, 2022 to 7th March, 2022 till 6:00 PM
After which the eligible candidates shall be issued an e-Admit Card which will be three weeks prior the commencement of the examination
CSE preliminary examination will be held by the Union Public Service Commission on 5th June, 2022
