JEST 2022

Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST) fulfills admission to Ph.D/ Integrated Ph.D Programes in Physics or Theoretical Computer Science or Neuroscience or Computational Biology in one of the Participating Institutes.

JEST is a National Entrance Test conducted mainly on Physics or Theoretical Computer Science but not for both for allotting candidates to Ph.D or Integrated Ph.D Programmes.

Eligibility

Education : Master’s degree**
Age : No restrictions**

**Candidates appearing for the final examinations of the course, which will be completed in August 2022, are also eligible to appear for JEST-2022.
Candidates working in SERB programmes and are NET qualified are also eligible for the Fellowship.

However participating institutes put forward their own eligibility criteria. Candidates are advised to go through the advertisements from the participating institutes before applying.
