Appeal in Supreme Court for rescheduling of NEET-PG 2022
An appeal was filed on Tuesday in the Supreme Court seeking rescheduling of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) which was scheduled on March 12, claiming that many MBBS graduates won’t be able to appear for the examination due to non-completion of mandatory internship period.
NEET PG, is an entrance examination for Medical Graduates for admissions to post graduate medical courses.
Currently many MBBS graduates would not be able to appear for the examination due to non-completion of mandatory internship period as they were engaged in additional duties assigned due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Hence an appeal was filed by 6 MBBS graduates, through Dubey Law Chambers, requesting a direction to the National Board of Examination to reschedule the NEET PG 2022 until various requirements set by the Examination Board are met by the aspirants, such as completion of mandatory internship.
